U.L. Listed 2-Hour Fire & Impact Safes
The Ratings:
- U.L. 2 Hour Fire, under 350°F internal at temperatures up to 1850°F external
- Passed the U.L. fire impact test which involves a 30' drop, the equivalent of falling through a 2-story building
The Door:
- 3 1/2" thick, recessed
- Heavy duty external hinges provide easy smooth door operation with full 180° opening
The Body:
- 2-5/8" total thickness including 1/8" outer and inner steel plates which encase the proprietary fire resistant material
- Full length dead bar that locks deep into the body preventing door removal during a forced entry attempt
- One recessed anchor bolt hole and mounting hardware
The Locking Mechanism:
- U.L. listed Group II combination lock or optional U.L. listed ESL10XL digital lock
- Auxiliary spring-loaded relock device
- 7/8" diameter solid steel chrome-plated locking bolts
- A full length dead bar that locks deep into the body preventing door removal during a forced entry attempt
